The CounterStrike: GO esports title remains a dynamic game, largely due to the publishers and their ability to continually update the game in order to improve its playability.

Thus with the latest update, the 'Nuke' map has had a number of changes.

As a result, MSSA officials have quickly conferred with IESF and PGL officials in order to obtain expert opinion in order to ensure that MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships on 10 February 2018 still delivers the best possible results.

Thus MSSA's Esports Board of Control has instructed the umpires selected for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships to not allow the use of the 'Nuke' map for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships.

Such instruction shall only be enforced for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships, and shall be reviewed for MSSA's Gauteng Provincial Championships which are to be played on 24 and 25 February 2018.
