Mind Sports South Africa's 9th Online Inter-School League has produced some very interesting results.
It should be noted that only MSSA's Online Inter-School League is the only official league that is fully observant of the law, and the only league at which Registered Players can earn Provincial Colours as well as a berth in MSSA's much coveted National team selection process.
The rankings see two previously unranked teams storm into the top ten positions.
Edenvale High School (now ranked 5th) and Hoërskool Randburg (now ranked 6th) are now sitting comfortably in the top ten, and if their players can meet the requirements for National team seection, may have a chance to be selected for Provincial and/or National teams.
However, it is Northcliff High School that now dominates the ranking, and it will be interesting to see if the school can keep their position at the SA National Championships in December 2019.
It must be remembered that the esports title of Counter-Strike: GO has an age restriction of 16. As such, in the best interests of promoting physical and mental health, MSSA does not allow any child under the age of 16 participate.
