Huisgenoot promotes official esports school league.

HUISGENOOT's article about the official esports school league.
Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA), the world's oldest national federation for esports, has always received good coverage from HUISGENOOT, YOU, BEELD, RAPPORT, and FINWEEK apropos its activities. Having been founded in 1985, MSSA received membership from South Africa's National Olympic Committee in 1994.

With the partnership being formed between MSSA and  PARTNERMEDIA, there is  now a much closer relationship.

Although there are only prizes for the following:

  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 (PES) – R5,000.00
  • Paladins – R5000.00
  • DotA 2 – R5000.00
  • Street Fighter V– a bursary to the value of R30,000.00
there are six other titles as well.

Athletes can earn Provincial Colours in all the titles.

The championship may be used by gamers to qualify for eligibility to be selected for the National Squads, from which the National Teams shall be drawn, should MSSA need to choose a team for any of the titles played in such championships.

MSSA's Online School League is the only official online league for schools. It is an event that has proved itself to be a most enjoyable event.
