MSSA's dynamic 2017 BOO! Protea League of Legends team. |
The ladder has shown growth from year-to-year and is testament to the growth of the game of League of Legends, and the enthusiasm to the true competitors who wish to represent South Africa at IESF's World Championships.
Players have represented South Africa in the League of Legends esports title at no less than four world championships, being Bucharest (2013), Seoul (2015), Jakarta (2016), and Busan (2017).
If IESF announces that League of Legends will be played at its 10th World Championships - Kaohsiung (Chinese Taipei), no doubt a South African team will also be present there.
The full ladder is as follows:
Other National ladders are:
- Senior CounterStrike: GO
- Senior League of Legends
- Senior Tekken 7
- Schools CounterStrike: GO
- Schools Tekken 7
