League of Legends: Players who have qualified for National Team Trials at SA Nationals.

Team 'Nightwalkers' (Generation X) - SA National Champions.

As the year rushes up to MSSA's National Team Trials - 2 & 3 June 2018, officials are going through the lists to check up on everyone who has qualified.

Only those who have qualified at an official Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) Regional, Provincial, and/or National Championship are eligible to participate in such National Team Trials.
No less than 15 players qualified at MSSA's 31st South African National Championships for the annual National Team Trials. What with the much improved standard of play, the Trials should, no doubt, render some very interesting results.

Interestingly, the club, Generation X, has so far produced the most eligible players for the 

League of Legends esports title.

The criteria to qualify for such trials all Registered Players that win a Regional Championship shall earn an invitation to National Team Trials.

Also, all Registered Players that score within the top 20% or top three places, whichever is greater, in a specific Period at a Provincial or National Championship shall earn an invitation to National Team Trials.

It should be remembered that members of the current Protea Squad automatically earn a berth at the National Team Trials (NTT) should they have met their obligations in terms of participation at MSSA events.

Genx Nightwalkers take top spot in League of Legends rankings.

Genx Nightwalkers (Generation X)

With League of Legends having been held at IESF's World Championships in Bucharest, Seoul, Jakarta, and Busan, the overall competitiveness and popularity of the game has increased from year-to-year in Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA's) events.

There is no doubt that MSSA's BOO! Protea League of Legends Esports Team was not only the strongest team in South Africa, but was also the strongest team that MSSA had ever fielded before for such title at any international event.

At Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA's) 31st SA National Championships (SAN) at Fakkel School, on 2 & 3 December 2017. Genx Nightwalkers (Generation X) walked into first place.

In taking first place the team members also earned themselves National Federation Colours as well as taking an early lead in the national rankings.

GenX or Generation X is an awe-inspiring clan which caters to those who play casually and those that are known to be on the more competitive side of gaming. As a newly founded clan they hope to attract various people to help them grow and become a large contender on the worldwide E-Sports scene. What stands out in GenX is their monthly internal tournaments they have with RP prizes to be won for all mainstream games.

The exceptional thing about the Generation X clan is that they treat each other like family, and ensure that whether you play casually or competitively you will have fun and improve at your own pace. They have a few coaches that would gladly assist you with those tiny concerns that hinder you into becoming the gamer that you strive to be. As an already rapidly growing clan they will be competing in acclaimed tournaments like MSSA (Mind Sports South Africa) and numerous other popular Competitions.

Owners of the clan Sybrand ‘Achillesrex’ De Kock and Adele ‘Nitebabe’ Janse van Rensburg have been working hard on creating the clan that they envisioned.
