The IESF's African Online qualifications, are now at an end .
The MSSA Protea Female Teams did well and upheld South Africa's reputation as a major esports player in Africa.
The Female Protea Mobile Legends Bang Bang Esports Team, ably lead by Je'nielle Cavanagh, gave it their all, but was unable to qualify for the AEC (as hosted by ACDS) African Championships to be held in Casablanca, Morocco in August in 2024. Nevertheless, there is redemption on the cards for the team, as they have a chance to qualify for the Global Esports Games (GEG) to be held in China.
The Female Protea Counter Strike 2 Esports Team, ably lead by Jessica Eleez Greeff showed her mettle and lead her team to flawless victories over both Kenya and Namibia. The victories ensured the team a place in the AEC (as hosted by ACDS) African Championships to be held in Casablanca, Morocco in August in 2024.
