MSSA's 2022 AGM will decide on including Assetto Corsa Competizione, Clash of Clans, and Rocket League into all Provincial and National Championships. |
At every Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) member clubs decide on the esports game titles that will be played at all Provincial and National Championships.
So far three esports titles have been proposed being:
- Assetto Corsa Competizione,
- Clash of Clans, and
- Rocket League
Priority is given to the esports titles that are played at World Championship level in order to assist MSSA deliver a national team.
It is therefore in every athlete's interest that every paid-up member club attends MSSA's AGM and helps decide on which titles are accepted. The correct choice of game titles will further develop esports as a sport as well as help the development of esports at every level albeit at grassroot level all the way through to professional competition.
However, it should be noted that any approved title may be played at an official MSSA Regional Championships with Board approval.
