The members of Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA), the largest membership based organisation for gaming in South Africa at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) approved the Calendar of Events for 2022.
With MSSA being a member based organisation, it is the member clubs that ultimately make the decisions on all the affairs of MSSA.
The Calendar is no less busy than in previous years, and proposes to increase the number of online championships both at school level as well as for Premier players.
Unfortunately the hosting of certain events still hang in the balance due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the meantime, however, MSSA has provided for the worst-case scenario.
As such, MSSA has provided for both online and face-to-face events.
MSSA will always put the well-being of all its members first, and will therefore adjust its Calendar of Events from time-to-time to meet the circumstances and the requirements of its membership.
The safety of MSSA's members is MSSA's first priority.
Registered Players are reminded that the online championships are part of the process for qualifying for provincial colours and national team selection.
All member clubs and Registered Players are invited to comment on the proposed calendar, being as follows:
