CounterStrike: GO - Learners who have qualified for National Team Trials.

Deity - Paul Roos Gimnasium's team that finished in 3rd place at MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships.

No fewer than six (6) teams comprising of thirty (30) learners qualified at MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships held on 10 February 2018 for MSSA's 2018 National Team Trials.

Many more gamers will no doubt qualify for such Trials at MSSA's 36th Gauteng Championships to be held at Northcliff High School to be held on 24 and 25 February 2018.

The criteria to qualify for such trials all Registered Players that win a Regional Championship shall earn an invitation to National Team Trials.

Also, all Registered Players that score within the top 20% or top three places, whichever is greater, in a specific Period at a Provincial or National Championship shall earn an invitation to National Team Trials. 

It should be remembered that members of the current Protea Squad automatically earn a berth at the National Team Trials (NTT) should they have met their obligations in terms of participation at MSSA events.

Important notice apropos CS update.

The CounterStrike: GO esports title remains a dynamic game, largely due to the publishers and their ability to continually update the game in order to improve its playability.

Thus with the latest update, the 'Nuke' map has had a number of changes.

As a result, MSSA officials have quickly conferred with IESF and PGL officials in order to obtain expert opinion in order to ensure that MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships on 10 February 2018 still delivers the best possible results.

Thus MSSA's Esports Board of Control has instructed the umpires selected for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships to not allow the use of the 'Nuke' map for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships.

Such instruction shall only be enforced for MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships, and shall be reviewed for MSSA's Gauteng Provincial Championships which are to be played on 24 and 25 February 2018.

The highest listed team, at the end of the SA National Championships is given the title of SA LADDER Champions.

With MSSA's National Championships scheduled for 2 & 3 December 2017 to be hosted by Fakkel School in Sasolburg, there is not much time for teams to contest the position for the number one spot.
