National Esports Team Manager: In for another term.

Johan van Breda (ZAG Academy) served as South Africa's Esports Team Manager from 2017.

Having first been selected to act as National Team Manager for all South Africa's esports teams in 2017, Johan van Breda held the position in 2018 as well.

Having overseen South Africa participate in Online test matches as well as at IESF's 10th World Championships - Kaohsuing, the Selection Committee has again appointed Johan to manage South Africa's esports teams.

The selection of Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA) team manager has now been taken away from the control of the Management Committee and placed in the hands of experts. Not only the Selection Committee now appoint managers for various teams and not be confined per discipline. The Selection Committee must too review the performance of the National Team Manager after each event, and is empowered to make any necessary changes.
Amanda Pakade, MSSA president, is confident of Johan's abilities and stated, "Johan is both an extremely competant administrator and team manager. His (Johan's) knowledge of all aspects of esports puts him in good stead to manage SA's esports teams."
