National Team Trials for eFootball™ mobile - 13 December 2025.

Yes it is very short notice, however, the African Confederation of Esports (ACES) has invited Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) to participate in the inaugural Africa eFootball™ Cup 2025, which will be held in the Kingdom of Morocco from 15 to 17 January 2026.

The official game title for this competition is eFootball™ Mobile.

Since National Federations have to register their athletes on Monday, 15 December 2025, MSSA has to hold National Team Trials no later than Saturday, 13 December 2025.

It should be noted that Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) shall be holding such NTT online.

Due to the nature of the short notice, MSSA has opened the Trials (NTT) to any and all Registered Players who are fully paid-up and 18 years or older.

MSSA shall select the athlete based on:
  1. Confirmation to attend events (test matches and other matches), and,
  2. Clearance from stimulants.
The conditions for entry are as follows:

The Documents required are as follows:
  • Copy of South African Passport.
  • Signed Senior or Junior Contract (Please note a parent or guardian will need to sign if the player is under 18 years of age).
  • Copy of an Unabridged Birth Certificate for players under the age of 18
While National Team Trials shall begin at 10H00 and end at 19H00, Registered Players shall be online at 9H00. MSSA officials will be on duty all day to assist with any queries you might have.

Treated like gold...

Jessica Eleez Greeff (Captain of MSSA's Female Protea CounterStrike GO Esports Team) attended the GAL2024 hosted by GSport on 2 December 2024.

The Top 10 Newsmakers of 2024 were announced, including Jessica.

Jessica gained her fame leading MSSA's Female Protea CounterStrike GO Esports Team to victory at IESF's African Esports Championships (SEC) in Casablanca, Morocco in August in 2024. This is the first time that South Africa has won such event. Jessica then lead MSSA's Female Protea CounterStrike GO Esports Team to IESF's 16th World Championships (WEC24) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where the team performed admirably.

As Jessica stated, "GAL24 was such a beautiful event where my team's hard work was recognised and appreciated".  Jessica went on to say, "GSport have treated me like gold, showing nothing but support for now and for my future"

MSSA President, Colin Webster stated, "I expect nothing less from GSport and its sponsors as their work in supporting females is truly admirable".

AEC - South Africa enters the finals!

Oh rapturous day , Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA) Female Protea Counter Strike Esports Team once again demonstrated their net worth.

Facing the powerful Egyptian Team, who were fresh from their resounding victory over Tunisia, the South African Female Protea Team knew that they had their work cut out for themselves.

Nevertheless, once again the cool, calm leadership exhibited by Jessica Eleez Greeff helped the team to successfully square up to Egypt.  The South African  team gave no quarter to the Egyptians, and ripped the Egyptians apart. In the first game, the Egyptians crumbled to a 13 - 5 loss on the 'Dust' map. 

Even though the Egyptians came back strongly in the second game on the "Inferno' map, the South African team held firm to force a credible 13 - 7 victory over the strong Egyptian Team.

Thus the MSSA Female Protea Counter Strike Esports Team are through to the final, which will be played on Tuesday, 20 August 2024.


The entire MSSA is rallied behind the MSSA Female Protea Counter Strike Esports Team in the full knowledge that the team is more than capable of bringing home the gold and to become the champions of Africa, and win a berth to IESF's World Esports Championships (WEC24) in Riyadh later this year.

AEC - Schedule for MSSA's Protea MLBB Team.

 

Mohammad Azhar Ansari is determined to lead his team to victory in Casablanca at AEC24.

Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA) Protea Esports Team faces an ordeal of fire as it faces off, in its group stages, against, Dijbouti, Tunisia, and Egypt.

All three countries have a strong reputation in the MLBB esports title.

Nevertheless, MSSA is confident that the team will give it its all as it battles for glory in its group stage, and the captain, Mohammad Azhar Ansari, is confident of a good showing.
