PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage - 9 May 2022

South African, Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, will be participating in the PGL Major Antwerp. https://www.hltv.org/player/11630/jt

Monday 9 May 2022 marks the start of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The PGL Major Antwerp starts with the "Challengers" stage, where 16 teams will compete for their spot in the top 8 to move into the tournament's final "Legends" stage.

The Swiss-System format "Challengers" stage is set to be one for the history books, with 4 teams ranked in the HLTV Top 10 world ranking fighting for their spot in the "Legends" stage. Jessie Joubert, MSSA's Player's Representative will be attending the "Legends" stage next weekend as an observer and reporter for Mind Sports South Africa.

This tournament is poised to be truly memorable, and MSSA hopes to see the South Africans competing at this event show their metal and make a deep run into the tournament.

Good luck to Johnny “JT” Theodosiou (Player) and Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (Coach) for the American Complexity Gaming, who are the only two competitors at the event from South Africa.

It  is truly admirable that two South Africans are able to represent a professional gaming club of the calibre of Complexity Gaming.

There is no doubt that all South Africans will be watching and hope to see Johnny “JT” Theodosiou on the "Legends" Stage in the Counter-Strike: GO (CSGO) esports title.

Stay tuned to the MSSA blog for more updates as Jessie Joubert shall post more updates on the PGL Major in Antwerp.
