Mind Sports South Africa's  South African National Wargames Championships shall be held at Fakkel School, 20 Jan Smuts Ave., Sasolburg, on, 7 & 8 December 2019.

Please note that the closing date for the booking of accommodation at the hostel  is 22 November 2019, which will have to include proof of payment, so that the hostel can plan the rooms accordingly.

To assist all member clubs, Fakkel School of Skills shall be providing accommodation as follows:

• Bed with no bedding - R140,00
• Breakfast - R75,00
• Dinner - R90,00

Please note that the closing date for the booking of accommodation at the hostel  is Friday 7 June 2018, which will have to include proof of payment, so that the hostel can plan the rooms accordingly.

To assist all member clubs, Fakkel School of Skills shall be providing accommodation as follows:

Sasolburg achieves another first in 2018.

Fakkel School of Skills is fast earning a reputation of being one of the strongest esports schools in South Africa.

Since the inception of the esports club at the school, the club has grown in size, regularly participates in a number of provincial championships and has taken provincial titles in Free State, Gauteng, North West, KwaZulu Natal, and Mpumalanga.

The club too boasts of having Protea Team members in both 2017 and 2018.

Through the efforts of the club,  the Free State saw the first ever esports international online test match being hosted by Fakkel School of Skills in the Free State on 23 June 2018.

Now there is another first.

Fakkel School is the first school in the Free State to host the South African National School Championships on 28 and 29 July 2018.

It is at MSSA's South African National School Championships that learners shall be able to earn the much coveted SA National High School Colours.

To assist all member clubs, Fakkel School of Skills shall be providing accommodation as follows:

• Bed with bedding - R140.00 per person per night
• Bed without bedding - R120.00 per person per night
• Breakfast with cereal - R50.00 per person per day
• Breakfast without cereal - R40.00 per person per day
• Light lunch (eg. spaghetti bolognaise) - R40.00 per person per day 
• Supper (cooked) - R60.00 per person per day 
• Supper (light, eg. fish and salad or chips) - R50.00 per person per day
• Food parcel - R40.00 per person per day

MSSA's South African National Championships (SAN) shall be hosted by Fakkel School, 20 Jan Smuts Ave., Sasolburg, on 2 & 3 December 2017.

Bookings, including payment, must be done on Tuesday, 28 November 2017 at the latest.

All gamers are reminded that MSSA's South African National Championships are an open championship. In other words any registered player is entitled to enter the championship – no matter where they live, or their category of membership.

The four star hotel and in close proximity to the venue for IeSF's 9th World Championships - Busan, being the International Passenger Terminal Convention Center, which makes it a perfect to accommodate South Africa's Protea Esports Team.

Just a quick bit of information regarding the Nationals.

Hoërskool Generaal Hertzog is kindly allowing use of their boarding school hostels for accommodation.

Unbelievably it works out at R150.00 per night which includes breakfast and dinner.

MSSA just needs to give Hoërskool Generaal Hertzog an indication of how many people will be staying and for how long. We also need to know how many boys and girls from the schools and the educators that will be supervising the learners.

The 13^th MSSA Free State Board Gaming Championships shall be held at Fakkel School, Sasolburg, on, 25 June 2016. 

The championships shall start on both days at 9H00. Players need to register at least 30 minutes before the start of play.

Entry fees are:              R30.00 for board gamers.

Only players who are registered with fully-paid-up members may participate.

Players are reminded that the majority choice of rules as at the closing date for entries shall be used.

Entry fees can be deposited directly into Mind Sports South Africa's account, held at ABSA Bank, account number, 90 4766 7676.

All entries must be entered onto the club's Google  Drive before or on 20 June 2016.
