On 8 April 2018 Mind Sports South Africa's Management Committee (ManCom) appointed Ruaan Swart as its Provincial Director for the Gauteng Province/

An enthusiastic educator at Vereeniging Gimnasium, Ruaan is the driving force behind the school's involvement in esports.

It is through Ruaan's efforts that the previously unranked team from Vereeniging Gimnasium has qualified for National Team Trials (NTT) for the Counter-Strike: GO esports title.

With Ruaan at the helm, it seems that the Gauteng Province is in safe hands.
