Southern5 takes MSSA's Online Provincial Championships title for the Counter-Strike: GO esports title.

With Mind Sports South Africa's National Team Trials (NTT) drawing ever closer, the ante has been raised at MSSA's Online Provincial Championships to see just who will represent South Africa in the Counter-Strike: GO esports title.

Southern5, under the leadership of Richard Ellis Brown, romped home to a well deserved victory in which the newly affiliated team defeated all of their opponents.

With Southern5 having won 
MSSA's Online Provincial Championships, the team has qualified for National Team Trials (NTT).Southern5 was only formed in the start of 2018, with a core of players from the previous Pulse lineup. Making a few roster changes along the way in the form of 
Michael Bishop (Crucial) and
Willie van Graan (Consp1racy)Southern5 is now dedicated towards achieving their goal of being one of the best teams in the country.

MSSA's NTT shall be held on 2 & 3 June 2018
at Vereeniging Gimnasium.


The team selected from such trials shall attend IESF's 10th World Championships to be held at Kaohsuing City on 6th – 13th November 2018.
