Oakhill beats Parktown Boys in DotA 2

Oakhill College's DotA 2 team.

The recent Ladder match saw Parktown Boys play against Oakhill College to improve their position in MSSA's DotA 2 esports School Ladder.

This is without the doubt the advantage of seeing esports being officially played at school level.

In what other sport could a school from Johannesburg compete against a school in Knysna at such little cost, but with the same effect as if they had travelled all those miles to be there.

Oakhill is currently ranked in 17th position in MSSA's senior ladder and in 6th position in the school ladder.

Parktown Boys is currently ranked in 9th position in MSSA's school ladder for DotA 2.

Oakhill dominated the game from start to finish and denied opportunities to Parktown at every turn.

Certainly Oakhill's standard is much improved. It would be interesting to see them take on Maritzburg College...
