In todays' modern society, the traditions of the past blend with the forward progression of technology.

Well, that is how it should be...

This is the case of Jeppe High School for Boys.

The school affiliated to Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) in 2016 and has been, since its affililiation, a willing participant in the newest of sports - esports.

Such is the nature of the oldest public school in Johannesburg, that it is brave enough to adapt, and progress with  the times, and at the same time, remain true to its rich traditions and culture.

Thus, it is no surprise that Jeppe High School for Boys hosted a very successful 2017 Gauteng Provincial Championships.

It will, therefore, not come as a surprise that the school has put in a bid to host the 2018 Gauteng Provincial Championships as well.

MSSA's Management Board will be deciding within the week on the host, and will advise its membership accordingly.
