MSSA's 2018 Fezile Dabi Regional Championships for MortalKombat XL, Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 which was hosted by JCS Academy on 27 January 2018 proved to be both and exciting and entertaining event.

The school proved to be a great host for the ever popular Fezile Dabi Championships, and the school was packed to capacity.

Even though only three titles were played (as opposed to six in 2017) there was an eleven (11) percent increase in the number of participants, which is testimony to the growth being experienced in esports in Sasolburg and its surrounds.

An additional Fezile Dabi Championships, for many of the games not played on 27 January 2018, will be held on 7 July 2018.
