Radical changes made for seedings.

Amanda Kwaza (MSSA president) is making waves.
The proof of an able administrator is just how much they get done in their first 30 days.

Amanda Kwaza has shown that she is made of the right 'stuff', as, under her guidance, Mind Sports South Africa's (MSSA) Board has implemented the changes approved at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Even with the heavy load of implementing the changes, and overseeing the day-to-day operations, the Board has made some sweeping changes.

One such change is that the Board agreed to amend the bye-laws for the determination of rankings for school teams be amended to include:

  • School teams/players versus other School teams/players in senior provincial and national events, and
  • School ladder games where there is an Educator present supervising the match.

The ruling applies to all disciplines (Board gaming, Esports, and Wargames).

This means that even more results will be taken into account when determing the seedrankings of learners, and it is hoped that the players will benefit from such changes.
