Leander van Schalkwyk lead 'Eclipse CS:GO' to a resounding victory at MSSA's 37th Gauteng Provincial Championships.

Team 'Eclipse CS:GO' of the Port Elizabethan club Eclipse Esports has further consolidated their dominance of the Counter-Strike: GO esports title in South Africa at MSSA's 37th Gauteng Provincial Championships on 23 February 2019.

The event, held at Curro Aurora, saw 'Eclipse CS:GO' (the 2018 SA Champions) under the astute leadership of Leander van Schalkwyk (two time Protea esports player - Busan in 2017, and Kaohsuing in 2018) lead his team to a flawless victory over all the opposition.

Obviously the lessons learned at two consecutive IESF world championships have helped Leander hone his skills to become a major force in South african gaming.

The victories, when translated into seeding points, clearly show the dominance of the team.

By more than doubling the team in seeding points, 'Eclipse CS:GO' is demonstrating that they are vastly superior to other teams in the field.
