And he is off...

Jonathan "CactuarKiDD" Brown (of CapeTown's Team Playbell Esports Club) is off to Eilat to represent South Africa in IESF's 2021 World Championships.

One of South Africa's longest standing competitive Tekken players, Jonathan "CactuarKiDD" Brown has been an active member of the South African fightings games scene for more than 15 years. He has numerous titles to his name and brags the 2021 Western Cape Online Provincial Championships as well as claiming the top spot in the 2021 SA National Ladder and SA National Online Championship. Not only is CactuarKiDD the captain of Team PlayBell, a Tekken group of more than 20 members, he also actively contributes to the local scene through hosting tournaments, training newcomers and assisting with the development of competitive gamers and content creators interesting in entering the South African Fighting Games Community.

Jonathan "CactuarKiDD" Brown departed South Africa on Saturday, 13 November 2021 to do battle in Eilat in IESF's 2021 World Championships.

Mind Sport South Africa's President, Ms. Amanda Pakade, stated "Jonathan is undoubtably the best that South Africa has to offer, and MSSA ius confident that he will perform to his best.
