Hoërskool Monument takes the Free State Counter-Strike: GO Esports Championships.

Monnas 'A' (Hoërskool Monument) earned their Gauteng Provincial Colours at the Free State Provincial Championships.

On 23 June 2018, Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) held its 15th Free State Provincial Championships for the Counter-Strike: GO esports title.
MSSA's latest affiliate Hoërskool Monument travelled down to a chilly Free State in an attempt to prove themselves, and to prove that they are 'second to none'.

Prove themselves they did, and Monnas 'A' and Monnas 'B' took first and second place respectively.

The players from both of Hoërskool Monument have now qualified for MSSA's 2019 National Team Trials (NTT).

As such, the players who have already qualified now have time to hone their skills and begin full preparations for the 2019 Team Trials.

However, Monnas 'A' did not only take the gold and qualify for MSSA's 2019 National Team Trials (NTT), but the members of the team were also all awarded Gauteng Provincial Colours for having won all of the games which they played.
