MSSA's 2018 National Team Trials saw more participants than ever before.
Empangeni High School’s (EHS) Esport League of Legends team was one of the many teams that participated in such national trials on the 3rd of June. The team performed admirably exhibiting great esprit de corps and sportsmanship.
At MSSA's 2018 National Team Trials each of the players received a gold medal for the online championship that took place on 21 April 2018 of this year where the team was placed first in the school category.

However, without their sponsors; Neotek, Kloppers Inc - Richards Bay and Empangeni, and Zululand Observer, EHS's League of Legends esports team, accompanied by coaches, would have battled to attend MSSA's 2018 National Team Trials. EHS's sponsors are thus creating a legacy among the young team in helping the team develop and grow.
