From out of nowhere, Aphiwe Mbata (HTS Sasolburg) won the FIFA '18 esports title. |
The event had participants from nine clubs from three provinces, and generated solid results.
The players that have finished in the top three places in the premier section have already qualified for MSSA's 2019 National Team Trials (NTT). As such, the players who have already qualified now have time to hone their skills and begin full preparations for the 2019 Team Trials.
The 15th Free State Provincial Championships has become well known for good, warm, and friendly Free State hospitality, and there is no doubt that the Free State Championships will continue to grow in both strength and stature.
