Results: 15th Free State Provincial Championships.

From out of nowhere, Aphiwe Mbata (HTS Sasolburg) won the FIFA '18 esports title.
On 23 and 24 June 2018, Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) held its 15th Free State Provincial Championships. The event was superbly hosted by Fakkel School of Skills, and it would be true to state that Fakkel School of Skills is setting the bar when it comes to hosting provincial and National Championships.

The event had participants from nine clubs from three provinces, and generated solid results.

The players that have finished in the top three places in the premier section have already qualified for MSSA's 2019 National Team Trials (NTT). As such, the players who have already qualified now have time to hone their skills and begin full preparations for the 2019 Team Trials.

The 15th Free State Provincial Championships has become well known for good, warm, and friendly Free State hospitality, and there is no doubt that the Free State Championships will continue to grow in both strength and stature.
