Mind Sports South Africes (MSSA) ran its biggest ever Online Inter-School Championship on 10 February 2018 for eight esports titles.

The championship saw 27 players earn their School Provincial Colours, and 82 players qualify for MSSA's annual National Team Trials (NTT) at which MSSA shall select the National Protea Esports Team.

F
or the second consecutive year Northcliff High School has retained its leading position as the Online Inter-School Champions.

However, second and third places have been taken by schools from the Western Cape, namely Pau
