Bishop's ascends to the top of the national DotA 2 esports ladder.

The results of MSSA's 8th Online Inter-School Championships continue to produce new surprises as Bishop's College has ascended to the to of the national DotA 2 esports ladder.

Northwood High school also showed remarkable improvement as they grabbed the number two spot, while long-time stalwarts, SAHETI, maintained their position in the top three.

However, it should be noted that newcomers, Paul Roos Gimnasium, are now ranked as the fourth best school DotA 2 team in the country.

The growth of esports at school level continues to grow unabated. The schools that helped to spearhead the  growth of esports at school level (St John's College, Randburg Ridge High School, Pretoria Boys High School and Northcliff High School) will always be fondly remembered for their worthwhile contribution. However, the growth of esports has meant that the 'founders' have to fight tooth-and-nail to maintain any sort of supremacy.
