National Team Trials for PES 2020 - the hunt is on!

IESF's 11th World Championships shall see PES 2020 as an official title.
The hunt is on to see who will represent South Africa at International Esports Federation's 11th World Championships in PES 2020.

Thus all those who have met the criteria for trials in the period 1 June 2018 to 31 May 2019 may enter and play in such trials which are to be held on 6 October 2019.

Thus all Registered Players that score within the top 20% or top three places, whichever is greater, in a specific Period at a Provincial or National Championship shall earn an invitation to National Team Trials.


It should be remembered that members of the current Protea Squad automatically earn a berth at the National Team Trials (NTT) should they have met their obligations in terms of participation at MSSA events.

Details of the National Team Trials are: 

  • Venue: The Blue Room, Old Edwardian Society, 11 Ninth Avenue, Lower Houghton, Johannesburg
  • Date: 6 October 2019
  • Time: 9H00 - 18H00
  • Entry fee: R64.00
  • Date of entry: 3 October 2019
It is out of the squad selected from those at National Team Trials (NTT), that the athlete who shall attend IESF's 11th World Championships - Busan shall be selected.Should an athlete wish to make him/herself eligible for selection, then such athlete must download and complete the relevant forms and then e-mail such to mindsportscorrespondence@gmail.com.
