Results: KwaZulu Natal Online Provincial Championships

Father and son, Leonard and Joost Loftus of the Sasolburg based Masters of Mind Sports Club tied for first place in the Street Fighter V esports title.

As the year steams forward towards Mind Sports South Africa's 2021 National Team Trials to be held online on 21 August 2021, players are scrambling to ensure that they have qualified for such National Team Trials (NTT).

The online provincial championship system ensures that its esports athletes are not compromised in terms of being able to qualify for provincial colours and for possible inclusion in South Africa's National Protea Team to attend International Esports Federation's 12th World Championships in November in Eilat later this year, MSSA created the Online Provincial Championships.

Esports athletes played the KwaZulu Natal Online Championships in the comfort and safety of their own homes and were still capable of competing on provincial, and even, a national level.

MSSA's KwaZulu Natal Online Championships saw veteran esports Protea player, Jessie Joubert - of ZAG Academy - lead his team to yet another victory in the Dota 2 esports title, while father and son, Leonard and Joost Loftus of the Sasolburg based Masters of Mind Sports Club, united in their passion for esports, tied for first place in the Street Fighter V esports title.
