Do MSSA events held after National Team Trials count for eligibility?

Sasolburg High in action
What is important to note, is that since clubs in KZN were not able to host the KZN Championships in April 2016, the first next available date is 9 & 10 July 2016.
However, it must also be remembered that MSSA Provincial Championships are never 'once-off' events. The events are used for a number of reasons, such as:
* Determining the Provincial Champions,
* Determining national rankings,
* Determining the Provincial Teams
* Creating a pool of eligible players for National Team Trials.
So although the KZN Championships has now had to be shifted to after the 2016 National Team Trials, it falls part of the process of creating a pool of players for the 2017 National Team Trials.
Thus the 2016 National Team Trials (NTT) to be held on 4 June 2016 will take into account the results of all MSSA events from 5 June 2015 to 4 June 2016.
It must be remembered that MSSA uses all championships within a calendar year for athletes to qualify for 'Trials'.
However, there are still a number of events that athletes may use to qualify if such athletes have not yet so qualified.
Those events include:
* MSSA's Gauteng Provincial Championships
* MSSA's Online Championships
* MSSA's Mpumulanga Provincial Championships
