And so time moves on...
It is now time once again for nominations to be made for the 2020 Momentum Gsport Awards.
It is at the 2020 Momentum Gsport Awards women in sport are being put first as Momentum and the gsport Trust partner once again to stage the 2020 Momentum gsport Awards. The awards celebrates 15 years of the country’s longest running women’s sport recognition platform.
Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) shall be making nominations, and, in order to ensure that no stone is left unturned, MSSA is appealing to all clubs and Registered Players to submit their suggestions to the Board before 30 June 2020.

Momentum Athlete of the Year
A South African sportswoman who has excelled at an international or senior level during the Year under Review (30 June, 2019 to 30 June, 2020)Athlete with Disability
A South African sportswoman with disability who breaks records and dispels myths about people living with disability.Emerging Athlete of the Year
An emerging sportswoman over the age of 18, who has excelled at a national and provincial level during the Year under Review. It honours the rising stars to inspire them to sporting greatness.School Sports Star
A young girl in sport under the age of 18 who has excelled athletically. She is seen as a role model to the youth and is on her way to greatness. The focus is on personal improvement alongside outstanding achievement during the Year under Review (30 June, 2019 to 30 June, 2020).Team of the Year
A team of sportswomen of any age, who have excelled as a unit during the Year under Review (30 June 2019 to 30 June, 2020) and represents the ideals of a democratic South Africa in terms of diversity and unity.Coach of the Year
A coach (any gender) who has made a significant impact on women’s sport during the Year under Review (30 June, 2019 to 30 June, 2020) and is actively involved in growing the careers of South Africa’s leading sportswomen.Woman of the Year
