The title 'League of Legends' played MSSA's 7th Online School Provincial Championships played on 11 February 2017, saw an increase in participants.

Even with an increase in the number of participants, the team 'Fuga Dracones' of Hoërskool Wonderboom dominated the event from start to finish.

None could stand in their way and all the teams before them crumbled.

At the end of the championships the team had won each and every game that they had played, which has earned Keagan Foster, Henco Joubert, Nicholas Muller, Jaco Swanepoel, Reinhardt Gericke the right to wear Gauteng School Provincial Colours.

The players in the top three teams have also earned their spots in MSSA's 2017 National Team Trials which shall be held in June 2017, and shall be used to select the Protea eSports Team that shall represent South Africa at IeSF's 9th World Championships.
