On 20 August 2018, Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) announced that Russia will be playing an online test match against South Africa on 28 August 2018 in both TEKKEN 7 and Counter-Strike: GO (CS:GO).
As such MSSA has selected the team to officially represent South Africa from the squads already selected.
As usual, MSSA will use the highly adept Alasdair Donaldson in the Tekken 7 esports title. Alasdair has a solid reputation in international esports championships and test matches.
MSSA will be using a female team captain for the Counter-Strike: GO team for the first time ever, which is fitting as it is Women's Month after all. Marisa "Faith" van der Westhuizen, is excited about her debut as captain and is hard at work in preparing 'her' team.
As such MSSA has selected the team to officially represent South Africa from the squads already selected.
