Eclipse CS:GO is now leading MSSA's rankings.

Team Eclipse CS:GO as lead by Protea Team player, Leander van Schalkwyk, are now leading MSSA's rankings.

Team Eclipse CS:GO, of the club of the same name, has taken pole-position on MSSA's national rankings for the esports title of Counter-Strike: GO.

It is not surprising that the team has taken pole-position as it is captained by Leander van Schalkwyk. Leander has represented South Africa (through Mind Sports South Africa) in two IESF World Championships, being IESF's 9th World Championships (Busan), and IESF's 10th World Championships (Kaohsuing City).

With MSSA gearing up to select the new team for IESF's 11th World Championships, there will no doubt be a number of athletes preparing themselves in the hope of being selected.

All readers are reminded that athletes have a full calendar year to qualify for selection. Thus if the selection is done on 30 May 2019 (which as yet to be determined and announced) then the period under review shall be 1 June 2018 to 30  May 2019.
