Results: MSSA's 2017 Capricorn Regional Championships.

MSSA's 2017 Capricorn Regional Championships hosted by HTS Tom Naudé in Polokwane on 30 September 2017 and 1 October 2017 proved to be both and exciting and entertaining event.HTS Tom Naudé proved to be a great host for the first ever Capricorn Championships, and the venue was packed to capacity in a atmosphere that was both relaxed and entertaining. There is no doubt that this event will grow from strength to strength and will become even more popular  in years to come.

Readers should be aware that MSSA awards Regional and Provincial Colours based on residency. 

Thus if a player lives in Sasolburg but plays in the Capricorn Regional Championships and qualifies for Regional Colours, such player would still be awarded Fezile Dabi Regional Colours.MSSA's 2017 Capricorn Regional Championships has once against demonstrated the importance of such regional championships. Not only do the regional  championships extend MSSA's footprint, but the championships also increase the player pool, allow game titles that are not played at provincial and national championships to be developed for purposes, and advertise the various games to communities who are otherwise not aware of the status of such games as being a recognised sport.

The Capricorn Regional Championships concentrated on esports as a precursor to Mind Sports South Africa's 6th LIMPOPO Championships to be hosted by HTS Tom Naudé in Polokwane on 28 and 29 October 2017.
