Revised 'Pro Evolution Soccer' (PES) rankings

Khahliso Malape (of Fakkel School, Sasolburg) retains his position as as the top ranked player in South Africa.

MSSA's 1st Capricorn Regional Championships hosted by HTS Tom Naudé in Polokwane, Limpopo, on 1 October 2017 demonstrated another unique feature of MSSA's Regional Championships.

Anyone is able to enter MSSA's Regional Championships.

A player does not need to be a  Registered Player, all that needs to happen is that the player needs to pay a slightly higher fee.

By paying the slightly higher fee, the player may participate, win a medal, earn a ranking in the official national rankings and even earn regional colours. However, the player does not earn a place at the coveted National Team Trials - for that the player must be a fully-paid-up member.

So it was that Moloti Mogashoa played in his first official championship, and won.

The top three places at MSSA's 1st Capricorn Regional Championships for the esports game of PES 2017 as played on PS4 are:
