Charlize Sesemals (HTS Sasolburg) |
While Alasdair Donaldson and Mxolisi Lukhele fight it out for the pole position on the rankings, few have noticed the rapid rise of young Charlize Sesemals (HTS Sasolburg).
From being an unranked player at the beginning of the S A Nationals (SAN), Charlize has shot up the rankings to be finally ranked in 5th place out of 110 ranked players. Charlize is the only female ranked in South Africa's top ten players.
With the Tekken 7 esports title dominated by men, 90% of the participants are men, Charlize has put her foot down and is establishing her claim.
Through her solid standard of play at MSSA's 31st SA National Championships on 2 December 2017, Charlize won the women's division and has qualified for MSSA's National Team Trials (NTT) on 2 and 3 June 2018.
