A rapid advance.

With Goon Squad joining VexxedPhoenix, the proverbial cat has been thrown in among the pigeons, or, in the case of VxP Goon Squad (as they are now known), the tiger has been thrown in among the pigeons.

VxP Goon Squad's standard of play is without compare. The team participated in League of Legends in Mind Sports South Africa's Online Provincial Championships which were played on 22 April 2017.
The aim was simple, to qualify for MSSA's National Team Trials in order to be selected as the Protea eSports Team for League of Legends.

The International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) has already announced League of Legends to be an official game title for IeSF's 9th World Championships - Busan.

Few, however, were prepared for the ferocity of VxP Goon Squad's gameplay.

In just one championship, VxP Goon Squad went from an unranked team (on a base of 100 seeding points) to finish ranked third in the country on 197.8 seeding points.

The team is thus yapping at the heels of the number one ranked team Fuga Dracones of HoĆ«rskool Wonderboom.

It is going to be a hard fought National Team Trials on 3 & 4 June 2017.
From 100 to 197.8 in one championship.
