Ancients rankings released for 16th Mpumulanga Championships.

Jason Batzofin.
With the 16th Mpumulanga Championships to be held at HTS Witbank on 27 and 28 May 2017, Mind Sports South Africa has just released its official rankings for such period.

There is no surprise that the top three positions are held by Old Edwardians.

However, the Teutonic Knights Mind Sports Club has been experiencing a huge growth spurt, and with the growth rate in numbers, there  has been a commensurate improvement  in standard of play.

Both Jacques Gertzen and Anja Els surprised all at the recent National Team Trials held on 6 & 7 May 2017 with their much improved standard.

With Mpumulanga being the last South African Championships prior to the World Championships, it will be interesting to see the standard in play by MSSA's players.
