Global Esports Executive Summit 2017 to be held in Busan, Korea

The International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) and Busan Metropolitan City shall host the 2017 Global Esports Executive Summit, in Busan, Korea, from November 13th to 14th, as a co-event of  IeSF's Esports World Championship.
The Global Esports Executive Summit Busan 2017 is the second event after its first meeting in Shanghai 2016

The program and agenda of the Busan Summit is to include of more specific agendas which is to be discussed and shared among all the esports influencers participating in the Summit. 120 officials from different esports industries and sports society people have participated last year.

The 2016’s agendas of panel discussion were; 
  • esports, road to official sports 
  • good causes, universal value, and social responsibility in esports, 
  • athlete welfare 
  • clean esports environment 
  • what is the platform for the next generation esports and how it can change your lives.

The Key purpose of the Summit is to share ideas between key stakeholders in different esports industries, to align understandings to ensure esports develops in the right direction and manner. Moreover, the summit involves the participation of International Sports Society members to openly discuss the potentials of esports and its synergies which can be produced together with traditional sports.
IeSF, Busan Metropolitan City, and Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, will be exerting every effort to support activation of the summit, for all esport industry, esport athletes and sport society to reach a common goal of understanding for esports development.

We are delighted to hold World Championship and Global Executive Summit in succession in Busan.” Said Mr. Alex Lim, Secretary General of IeSF. “We hope that the different stake holders of esports will be able to share the same vision by the end of the Global Esports Executive Summit, for future esports development. IeSF Plans to hold the Summit on an annual basis to constantly communicate with various stakeholders and also lead esports under consensus for holistic development.”
